Mark your calendars: WatchTime New York, which sold out to record audiences last year, will return, bigger and better, on October 13 and 14 at New York City?s Gotham Hall, at 1356 Broadway, and tickets are going fast. Once again, watch collectors and aficionados will be able to see and try on watches from a wide array of companies and talk to watch-company executives. They?ll also be able to attend presentations and talk watches with their watch-fan confrères Last year, 24 watch brands displayed their newest timepieces to nearly 1,000 watch lovers who attended. This year, 28 watch brands have confirmed their attendance, from major players like Omega, TAG Heuer, Jaeger-LeCoultre, A. Lange & Söhne, Breguet, and Blancpain, to hot independent watchmakers like MB&F, Romain Gauthier, and Kari Voutilainen (The full lineup of brands appears below).
WTNY kicks off Friday evening with a VIP cocktail party, held from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, during which attendees can visit the watch companies? exhibits and chat with special guests, including noted watch collector Jeff Kingston. Tickets for the cocktail party are $119 and include open bar and passed hors d?ouvres. On Saturday, the show hours are 11 AM to 5 PM. That day, Kingston will give a series of presentations and present a “watch tour” of the show floor, highlighting the most interesting timepieces.
