A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Tourbillon Rounds Out the 25th Anniversary Collection in High-Horology Style
Throughout this year, A. Lange & Söhne has been releasing limited-edition watches to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its relaunch in 1994, and more specifically to celebrate that year?s launch of the original and iconic Lange 1. To cap off this milestone year, the German manufacture?s tenth and final release in the commemorative series will be the Lange 1 Tourbillon ?25th Anniversary,? another famed piece that first debuted in Lange?s portfolio in 2000.
A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Tourbillon “25th Anniversary”
This special edition piece, like all Lange 1 Tourbillons, uses a three-day tourbillon movement, outsized date indicator, power-reserve indicator, and the classic Lange 1 case with its 10 o?clock cycling date adjustor. As has been the trend in the 25th Anniversary watches, the Lange 1 Tourbillon uses a silver-and-blue color scheme, with this watch?s 38.5-mm white-gold case protecting the solid silver, argenté-colored dial and its various blue and blued steel accents. On the right side of the dial we find the aforementioned power-reserve indicator, while on the right we find a shrunken hour-and-minute subdial marked with Roman numerals at each quarter hour, and an off-center running seconds subdial. Blue details highlight the argenté-colored silver dial and its prominent tourbillon.
