A legend returns: the DOXA Sub 300 Searambler “Silver Lung”
A big name from dive watch history, Doxa is reaping rewards from limited-edition online releases

With last year?s Black Lung reissue, Doxa joined the exclusive club of watch brands whose online limited edition release sold out within 24 hours of going on sale. Given the brand?s deep archives, there?s little surprise that they?re looking to strike gold a second time, with the SUB 300 Searambler ?Silver Lung? going on sale on the 23rd July, with a pre-sale price of $2,190 USD. Much like its sibling, the Silver Lung is being created in partnership with the legendary dive gear manufacturer Aqua Lung, featuring the familiar black and yellow Aqua Lung U.S. Divers logo on its silver dial between seven and eight o?clock.
Much like the Black Lung, this Silver Lung is a nod back to another very rare watch that was part of Doxa?s earliest dive watch releases back in 1967. Though the name Doxa was first registered in 1910, it wasn?t until the mid-sixties that the brand jumped on a collaboration to create approachable dive watches for both professional and recreational divers, and in many ways it was these sort of collaborative efforts with Aqua Lung that cemented Doxa?s position in the era as a go-to in the category.
