Announcing the Winner(s) of the Second WatchTime Wrist Shot Contest
Another WatchTime Wrist Shot Contest has come to its conclusion. As you likely know, we did things a little differently this time around with having you ? our loyal readers ? vote on the winner. We turned the 300+ submissions we received earlier this month into a top 10 list that let you select who would take home the grand prize of a free Saturday ticket to WatchTime New York 2018 (travel costs not included), plus a free subscription to WatchTime magazine. Well after two weeks and over 2,500 votes, we have a winner.
Champion:Â @rozzys_choice
Please congratulate @rozzys_choice on winning the second-ever WatchTime Wrist Shot Contest with his picture of a vintage Universal Genève Polerouter from 1955. He took the lead within the first few days of voting and never relinquished it, eventually capturing 46% of all votes. Congratulations!
The remaining top five vote-getters will also receive a free, All-Access subscription to WatchTime magazine.
The Best of the Rest:
In second place is Mark Newman from Bellaire, Texas, who submitted a shot of his IWC Aquatimer Chronograph in its natural element. Mark received 18% of all votes for his picture.
The race for third, fourth, and fifth place was the closest of the contest with this image of a Patek Philippe Calatrava Skeleton Ref. 5180/1R submitted by Fan Wei-Tsu taking home bronze, with only four more votes than the next highest total. This thoughtful image used a sepia tone to stand out and captured 7% of the total vote.
