Arnold & Son, Oris, and RGM Unveil All-New Watches at WatchTime New York
At WatchTime New York 2019, many of the 37 participating brands have been showcasing their newest and greatest timepieces. Many of them are even debuting brand new watches, including G-Shock, with the new MTG-B1000XBD and B1000XB models, and HYT with the new H5. At last night’s event kickoff, three other sponsoring brands launched new releases as well: Arnold & Son with the new Globetrotter Night, RGM with the Terra Nova, and Oris with the new Art Blakey Limited Jazz Watch.
Arnold & Son Globetrotter Night
The Arnold & Son Globetrotter Night is a variation of the original Globetrotter, first released in 2018, and differing in its use of a dark globe at its center rather than the blue one on its predecessor. The model is inspired by the high-precision marine chronometers created by John Arnold in the 18th and 19th centuries, and similarly features an interesting mixture of historical suave, in its Roman numerals, and aspects of vintage clockwork animatronics, as seen in its central rotating globe. This central 3D component also doubles as a world-time indication, giving the 45-mm steel model an added usefulness as a sturdy travel watch. Arnold & Son Globetrotter Night
