Bell & Ross Introduces the BR 05 GMT White
Watchmakers have had a surged interest in GMT watches in 2022, perhaps a result of the return to world travel post-pandemic. The latest example that indicates two time zones is the BR 05 GMT White from Bell & Ross. The brand was founded in 1994 by the French industry designer Bruno Belamich and his friend Carlos Rosillo and has maintained its manufacturing facility in La Chaux-de-Fonds since 1996.
Taking inspiration from aviation, the watches are equipped with high-quality Swiss mechanical movements, which are meticulously regulated in order to guarantee the precision that is expected when translating pilot instruments to wristwear.
The BR 05 was first introduced in 2019 and offers a decidedly urban-style interpretation of other releases from the brand. Namely, the Instruments Collection, whose signature square case with four screws on the top presents a round dial with four oversized Arabic numerals and eight indices. The BR 05 GMT White maintains those design elements, only adapting them to serve the GMT complication.
This product family of BR 05 previously included a time-only watch, a chronograph, and a GMT model with a black dial. Expanding the growing collection is the new GMT model adorned with a stunning white dial and surface texture. The second time zone, which is indicated by a central red-tipped hand, is discreetly integrated on the flange.
