Breitling and Bentley have renewed their long-standing partnership that spans over fifteen years to come up with more special edition watches. The partnership between the two brands begun in 2003 when Bentley asked the Swiss watchmaker to create an onboard clock for the Continental GT. ?Bentley and Breitling share so many values. Both companies are known for quality, performance, and design excellence, and both can build on powerful historical legacies,? The renewed partnership will see Breitling integrate special Bentley editions into its core product offering rather than in a separate Breitling for Bentley collection.
The first special edition watch to be spawned out of the partnership will be the Premier B01 Chronograph 42 Bentley British Rac­ing Green. The timepiece is powered by Breitling?s flagship Manufacture Caliber 01 in-house mechanical movement, which is visible through a unique transparent caseback with a metalized Bentley logo. The special edition watch offers an impressive 70-hour power reserve. It also features an engraved plate on the case with a ?Bentley? inscription. The design of the plate has been inspired by the dashboard of the historic supercharged 1929 ?Blower? Bentley.
