Christopher Ward launches the C60 Trident Bronze Pro 600

Christopher Ward has released its first bronze model, the C60 Trident Bronze Pro 600
British brand Christopher Ward has made its first foray into bronze cases with a new dive watch, an addition to the Trident collection.
We?ve seen several bronze divers in the past couple of years, including the Oris Divers Sixty-Five, Tudor?s bronze Heritage Black Bays, and the Anonimo Nautilo Blue.
For Christopher Ward, the C60 Trident Bronze Pro 600 is also a return to a sturdier dive watch compared to the likes of the dressier Trident C65 Vintage.
The watch is water-resistant to 600m and features a bronze case and deep blue dial. The case, including the bezel, middle case and crown, are crafted from a Japanese-made multi-alloy bronze of copper and tin; this means that over time the material will develop a copper brown, rather than green or yellow, patina.
The last additions to the Trident collection were two limited edition dive watches, the C60 Trident Pro and the C60 Trident Day Date, in July. The C60 Trident Bronze Pro 600 has a very similar look, with baton-style indexes and recognisable second hand with signature Trident counterbalance.
The hands are a lighter bronze than that of the case, so are easily picked out against the matte blue dial, and the hour and minute hands, and indexes, are coated with A-Grade SLN Light Old Radium GL lume paint.
