Following up on last years C60 Blue collaboration with the Marine Foundation, Christopher Ward once again turns their attention to oceanic conservation with the C60 #tide. Christopher Ward, in collaboration with new Swiss based partner, #tide Ocean Material, is upcycling ocean bound plastic waste to create raw materials for a new strap collection, which we saw debut last year on the C60 Blue. This latest C60 diver keeps the spotlight on plastic waste heading to our oceans, and makes some lemonade with a pretty sharp dive watch in the process.

The new C60 #tide features the same blue sapphire dial emblazoned with a familiar wave motif we first saw on last year?s example, while the dial arrangement has been updated. The wave pattern itself has a new ebb and flow to it, and the Christopher Ward logo has been moved to the 12 o?clock position in symmetry with the chronometer labeling at the 6 o?clock position. In keeping things symmetrical, the date aperture has also been moved to the bottom of the dial. 
Unlike the original model, the C60 #tide gets the slimmer ceramic bezel we?ve seen on C60 Sapphire models, and it looks rather fitting here. The #tide has moved into a larger, 42mm case however, which means a 22mm lug span, and a thicker case at 14.1mm. It is their light catcher case, though, which look and wear excellently in our experience, so this watch should still be relatively approachable with a lug to lug width a hair under 50mm.
