Objest is a London-based brand founded by designer Jared Mankelow. Some time ago, Objest launched its first series of pebble-shaped watches. This inaugural collection featured solely quartz movements, but since then the firm has ventured into the realm of mechanical calibers, utilizing the workhorse ETA 2824 movement to power its line of automatics. This was something Mankelow intended to do from a very early stage, so the jump wasn?t a difficult one to make. The modern design aesthetic has remained largely the same.But beyond its expansion into mechanical horology, Objest also offers customization via a handy online configurator. There are a surprisingly large number of options available to customers: four crown, case and buckle colors; five straps; two custom rotors; seven dials; a black or white date; and numerous hand color options.
