Something colourful: MB&F releases the LM2 Purple
While much has been made of Switzerland?s new-found comfort with all manner of brightly coloured dials, purple still isn?t one you see every day. Blue, of course, along with plenty of green ? this year in particular ? and various shades of brown. But purple" Not so much. Enter the MB&F LM2 White Gold Purple, which does what it says on the (sci-fi influenced) tin: a purple dial take on the brand?s dual powertrain legacy machine. Somewhere new: The Hour House
Opening this November at 6 Duke St is The Hour House, a new shop for watch fans that promises to bring accessories, customisation and sales both new and vintage under one roof. Key backers are winder and case specialists Rapport, and aftermarket customisers Titan Black, but we hear that there will also be a selection of watches for sale from indie brands courtesy of Skolorr, as well as hand-picked vintage pieces and jewellery.
