Something new: TAG Heuer X Fragment Carrera
This is so new we’re not entirely sure of all the details. Japanese streetwear designer Hiroshi Fujiwara, who creates under the label Fragment, started posting teaser shots of a Heuer Carrera on his Instagram last week, and this morning the full watch emerged via Calibre11. We assume it’s a limited edition, and it’s identifiable by the Fragment logo at 12 o’clock, the word Fragment at half past five, and a very low-key tachymeter scale running round the outside of the dial. More info on this when we have it. Somewhere to shop: Bamford pop-up at Selfridges
Starting today, Bamford London is opening a pop-up at Selfridges that will see a number of new watch designs introduced. Chief among these is an automatic GMT in black and yellow (running a Sellita SW330-1 and priced at £1,100), with four new colours set to debut on November 26. Besides the attention-grabbing work with TAG Heuer and Zenith, Bamford’s own watch offering is becoming more serious – this design is a step on from the quartz Mayfair.
