For the Arpels Heures Florales and Lady Arpels Heures Florales Cerisier watches unveiled at the Watches & Wonder 2022, Van Cleef & Arpels drew inspiration from the father of modern taxonomy, Carl Von Linné. The prominent Swedish botanist and zoologist who was obsessed with designing perfect gardens conceptualized the “Linnaeus’ flower clock,” a garden that would be able to tell time.
