Formex is introducing its new Essence Space Rock Automatic Chronometer Limited Edition timepieces. Based upon the popular Essence ThirtyNine and Essence Leggera FortyOne, the two three-hand watches, each limited to 88 pieces, are equipped with meteorite dials. This rare material makes for an unusual backdrop for the  applied indices, which have mirror-polished bevels that are filled with brightly glowing Superluminova and provide maximum legibility, regardless of whether it is day or night. 

The Formex Essence Space Rock Limited Edition watches are available as both the 39mm Essence ThirtyNine with a 316L stainless steel case, or as the 40% lighter Essence Leggera FortyOne. The latter boasts a 41mm carbon fiber composite case that is fitted with a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel and crown. Both watches are water-resistant to 100 meters and feature the brand’s patented Case Suspension System which improves the shock-resistance.
At the heart of the debutantes ticks a C.O.S.C. certified self-winding caliber based on Sellita SW200-1, which has an extended power reserve of approximately 41 hours. The fully decorated movement features thermally blued screws and a custom-built skeletonized rotor.
