The latest release from G-Shock is an interesting spin on some previous designs, using their full metal construction, artfully implemented case finishing, and the brand?s trademark toughness and ability to withstand shocks, moisture, and virtually anything else. The GMWB5000CS-1 has the profile of a classic G-Shock, but with some decidedly forward thinking design elements. Let?s take a look.

While G-Shock is still known to many as the makers of tough as nails plastic watches, over the last few years the brand has stepped up their metal offerings, which adhere to all the same standards as traditional G-Shocks, but allow for casework and an overall aesthetic that isn?t possible with resin.
