The recently redesigned new layer guard structure makes the watch slimmer than its predecessors in the G-STEEL line and the BLE Connected movement utilizes Bluetooth low energy technology to pair the model with a smartphone via the G-SHOCK app, enabling its wearer change the watch?s time zone, check its battery level, set a timer or alarm on the watch directly through the app. There also a unique phone finder function that will set off the alarm on your smartphone so that you can find it if lost and within range. Each watch in the collection, is equipped with Tough Solar technology, which offers solar energy charging capabilities and displays its current power level on a turbine-inspired subdial disk at 9 o?clock ? here offered with either blue or rose gold detailing. A Super LED light can be activated to illuminate the dial for maximum visibility in the dark. The G-Steel series combines metal and resin elements.
