G-Shock Sets a Twilight Scene With their Latest Full Metal Watch
I?ve been on the record for a long time about my love for brightly colored G-Shocks. I reviewed my GA-2100 a few years ago, which I purchased primarily because it’s almost radioactive red, which is just a lot of fun. I?ll be honest: I don?t find myself wearing my red Casioak very much these days, but it sits in a place of honor on my desk, never too far out of view, adding a certain spark to my home office decor. Full metal G-Shocks give these watches a luxurious vibe that you simply can?t achieve with the resin cases that brand is still most associated with, which is somewhat ironic considering the inherently tough qualities of stainless steel and titanium, the materials G-Shock typically uses in their upmarket full metal releases. For this watch, which carries reference GMWB5000PB-6, G-Shock has employed a two-tone IP finish in purple and and blue-gray tone.
