The inspiration for several contemporary pieces, this historic model’s dial has the inscription  ?Rubies 26,? which denoted exceptional accuracy, and ?Shockproof,? which referred to the robustness of its design. This watch provided the primary inspiration for the new Spezialist collection ? which first was unveiled at the Swatch Group’s “Time to Move” event earlier this year in Switzerland and will be seen by U.S. audiences for the first time at WatchTime New York ? and the opportunity to view it alongside its most direct modern descendant, the Spezialist SeaQ ? should not be missed.
