If it ain?t broke, don?t fix it. That seems to be BALL?s thinking with its pre-order approach to new releases, which the brand has now done with three watches over the last half-year. Just last month, we wrote about the Engineer III King, and before that the new Engineer Master II Voyager and Engineer III Bronze/Silver Star. BALL?s latest steps away from the Engineer family and takes to the road?introducing the Roadmaster GMT.
In 2016, BALL brand ambassador (BALL calls them ?BALL Explorers?) Danny Thompson made history when he broke his father?s (that?s the famous Mickey Thompson) land speed record by hitting 406.7mph in his piston-powered Challenger 2 streamliner at the historic Bonneville Salt Flats in western Utah. The limited edition Roadmaster GMT honors that milestone.

Putting the partnership aside for those who are wary of such things, the Roadmaster GMT stands on its own as a solid timekeeper. The case measures 42mm wide and 12.64mm thick and is available in stainless steel or DLC finish. The watch is anti-magnetic to 4,8000A/m and water resistant to 100m/330ft.In terms of BALL novelties, the Roadmaster GMT has quite a few of them.
