Introducing the Blancpain Villeret Quantième Complet GMT ? a watch for jet-setters
Blancpain is ready for Baselworld and the first watch in their lineup is a classic for the brand. The Blancpain Villeret Quantième Complet GMT is a version of the triple calendar with moonphase ? a bestseller for the company. This version serves frequent fliers especially well because it comes equipped with a 24 hour GMT hand for tracking a second timezone.
The watch displays the date, the day of the week and the month; the latter two through windows and the former using a pointer. The 40 mm watch is available in steel and red gold editions and is water resistant to 30m. The watch?s lugs bear correctors that allow the wearer to adjust the various calendar functions whenever necessary.
While both red gold and steel versions are attractive in their own right, the red gold seems appropriately glamorous for a deep-pocketed jet-setter. The dial may appear cluttered to those who prefer a minimal look, but for all the hands and numbers, it?s not a hard watch to read. We can easily see it continuing the grand tradition of Blancpain?s Calendar watches.
