Introducing the Bravur Grand Tour “La Corsa Rosa”
Bravur is one of our favorite small brands – they have a completely unique aesthetic that draws on inspiration from their base of operations in Sweden. Their watches often have an elegant feel to them that is hard to pin down, but I think it?s fair to say that what we?d traditionally think of as ?sports watches? are not exactly their thing. Their newest release is a refreshing change of pace that dips a toe into sports watch territory but does it in a way that?s still distinctly Bravur. What?s more, this new watch is the first in a series to be released over the course of the summer. It?s an ambitious project that has us excited to see what?s coming next. Let?s take a look at the all new Grand Tour La Corsa Rosa chronograph.
Bravur?s founders share a love of cycling, and the Grand Tour project is their way of paying homage to a sport that means a lot to them. The La Corsa Rosa is the first of three watches inspired by the three ?Grand Tours,? the most prestigious cycling races in the world. La Corsa Rosa is a nickname for the Giro d?Italia, a 21 stage bike race run each May through Italy. The chronograph subdials are in three shades of pink, which is inspired by the leader’s jersey of the race. This might offer a clue to what future watches inspired by the Tour de France and Vuelta a España may look like when they?re launched in June and August, respectively.
There are other fun references to cycling throughout the watch as well, but none are...
