Introducing The GMT Bezel Collection From Farer
Farer brings their bold aesthetic to the new GMT Bezel collection, composed of three unique variations each representing differing takes on the GMT. The new watches offer a continuation of Farer?s recognizable style in the form of big colors and graphic dials, all with the added benefit of a 24 hour hand and bezel. Also becoming a Farer staple, well considered case proportions, and the GMT Bezel collection is no exception, bringing the same cushion shape we saw on the Chronograph Sport to life in a trim and approachable GMT.Â
The Farer GMT Bezel Charlton
Based in England, Farer is placed at the home of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), serving as the base point for Universal Coordinated Time. In recognition of those surroundings, the three watches within the GMT Bezel collection bear the names of the three roads that surround Greenwich park in London. These are Crooms Hill (red), Charlton Way (blue), and Maze Hill (white). At the fourth side sits The Royal Naval College that backs on to the River Thames.
The Crooms
The Crooms GMT Bezel brings Arabic numerals to the deep red dial in the form of an oversized 3, 6, and 9. The numbers are rendered in the British developed typeface ?Brown? – born from the iconic London Underground font. A bright blue 24 hour pointer hand brings a stark and stylish contrast to the radially finished red dial, while organ accents at the outset of each 5 minute marker offer a more subtle pop of color.
