Introducing the Krayon Everywhere, a watch with one eye on the horizon
Movement maker Krayon reveals an entirely new complication inside its first watch, the Everywhere.

Launching a day ahead of the Summer Solstice – the longest day of the calendar, something which is unlikely to be a coincidence for reasons you will soon discover – this is the new Krayon Everywhere.
Despite the fact that the Everywhere promises an entirely new mechanical complication, what is immediately interesting is that it comes from an entirely new brand, however Krayon is not new to the watch industry. The Neuchatel-based company was set up in 2013 to create complicated movements for others and has worked with the likes of HYT in the past.
Now company founder Remi Maillat has produced the Everywhere and, in the process, has turned his company into a brand in its own right. That goes some way to explaining the slightly odd brand name (crayon being French for pencil, it has a link to the firm’s work as designers), but that, and the watch’s design, do betray a company not normally used to presenting itself directly to the consumer. The 42mm white gold Everywhere is built around Krayon’s USS (Universal Sunrise Sunset) movement which will, after five parameters have been entered using the crown, accurately calculate and display sunrise and sunset times each day, anywhere in the world.
