Formula 1 fans have likely had this weekend circled on their calendars since the season schedule was released. The Monaco GP is a spectacle of obscene wealth, fashion, and of course, racing. What the race lacks in drama (can we get a passing lane") it makes up for in display of the drivers? skill in precision maneuvering around a tight track laid through Monaco?s prestigious Monte Carlo and Condamine districts. Saturday’s qualifying is where the real drama happens. To celebrate the race, TAG Heuer has revealed a new limited edition Monaco in a chic silver colorway. 

The name of this Monaco is the Titan Limited Edition, and it features a titanium case measuring 39mm in diameter. Titanium is rarely seen in the Monaco collection, and works well in this configuration as a base for the silver sunburst dial. The texture of the case is uniform sand-blasted matte texture, including the pushers along the 3 o?clock side of the case and the crown at 9 o?clock.
Solid black registers create a panda effect with the dial, and the monochrome theme is only broken by a deep red timing seconds hand and the central section of the 12 o?clock hour marker at the top of the dial. This is one of the most handsome executions of the Monaco in recent memory and the use of titanium for the case should make this square case much easier to wear than the steel variety.
