Since Davide Cerrato assumed the role of the Managing Director of Montblanc?s watch division, he has been steadily transforming the brand by giving all its collections a fresh, new update. It includes the complete redesign of Montblanc?s TimeWalker collection, introduced at the SIHH 2017, which drew inspiration and historical cues from Minerva. At the ongoing SIHH 2019, Montblanc has revealed two new chronographs that further expands the updated TimeWalker collection. Both the latest model feature ?Reverse Panda? dials with contrasting black backgrounds and counters and flanges. The first of the two is the Montblanc TimeWalker Manufacture Chronograph, which is basically a variation of the timepiece revealed last year. It features the same satin-finished stainless steel case that measures 43mm and has a fixed black ceramic bezel engraved with a tachymeter scale. What?s different on this year?s model is the dial on which the colors have been inverted. The dial like before has a 3-6-9 layout for the chronograph, with the date window appearing between 4 and 5 o?clock. The watch is powered by the Montblanc Manufacture Calibre MB 25.10, which is an automatic movement with a 46-hour power reserve. It comes paired with a perforated vintage brown Sfumato aged calf leather strap that has stainless steel triple folding clasp. The Montblanc TimeWalker Manufacture Chronograph is priced at EUR 4,990 (about $5,725).
