My New Omega Speedmaster ‘Dark Side of the Moon’
Just in for Christmas. My new Omega Speedmaster ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ – the one I’ve been craving for a long, long time.
Yesterday, I bought a watch, which will complete my Omega trio collection. I knew third watch had to be special, I knew it had to be the Dark Side of the Moon.
I think this purchase is the last one for this year, but who knows. So, the watch came in a distinctive black box.
Underneath the outer box, there is a micro fibre cleaning cloth, right-hand side compartment with all the accessories supplied with the watch and the piano black box, containing the watch itself.
As a standard, we get a black leather wallet, red manual booklet, swing tag and a purchase receipt. I find myself quite lucky to buy a pre-owned watch with a purchase receipt and original swing tag. The watch was originally purchased in early 2017 in one of the UK’s most established jewellers. The retail price on the model I bought is £8,200! When you buy a watch, you need to double check if all the following information is located on the warranty card:
AD’s stamp
Serial number of the watch
Date of the purchase
I’m so happy with the watch! Thing I love about this model is that it breaks the norms of a normal Speedmaster, it’s cool and hip. The 44mm case is made of black ceramic – highly scratch resistant and ultra light material. The dial is also ceramic and the readability on it is I would say decent.
I reckon, a break up ...
