Right in time for the summer travel season, Bell & Ross taxis on the runway with a new pilot’s watch. The BR 03-92 Radiocompass, which takes its name from a radio navigation tool, the Radio Compass, is distinguished by its bright colored hands that contrast beautifully with black backdrop and guarantee optimal readability.

Part of the Flight Instruments collection created in 2010, which incorporates air navigation tools into horological pieces, the timepiece is reminiscent of an aeronautical instrument but offers a cool color and design twist. As is de rigueur at Bell & Ross, it adopts the brand?s unique square case, which is 42 mm wide and 10.40 mm thick. Crafted from black ceramic, it boasts a water-resistance of 100 meters and contains the self-winding, Sellita based caliber BR-CAL.302.
Much of the charisma of the BR 03-92 Radiocompass comes from its hands, which take up the original shape of the hands of the Radio Compass. They adopt three bright, almost fluorescent hues. Certain indications on the dial are coated with Superluminova. At night, the luminescent indexes omit a blue shine, the minutes stand out in green, and the hour hand first turns yellow and then ends its luminescence in green.

The Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Radiocompass, attached to a black rubber strap, is a limited edition of 999 pieces retails for $4,100.
