It?s almost time for the seventh annual return of WatchTime New York to Gotham Hall for a weekend-long showcase of the most sought-after watch releases from the past year. Spanning October 21-23, the event will be a great opportunity for watch-world novices, aficionados, and industry professionals alike to convene over their most common interest. 

If one event isn?t enough to satisfy your watch fix, the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC) is hosting a Time Symposium in association with the Horological Society of New York. On October 21 and 22 the event will take place in Midtown Manhattan at the General Society of Mechanics & Tradesmen of the City of New York. 

The Time Symposium highlights iconic collectors of clocks and watches who recognized the enduring historical, technological, cultural, and aesthetic values of horology. The conference is the first of its kind to emphasize masterful collectors, including the likes of J.P. Morgan. Their collections remain preserved in museums around the world and are well-documented in books, pamphlets, and auction catalogs dating back to the 18th century. 
The symposium programs are also of interest to scholars and students of collecting in general, with the best of their kind recruited to participate. The closing banquet for the symposium will take place at the elegant Harvard Club of New York City, where well-known experts and scholars will speak about their own personal experiences...
