Nomos Introduces a New Selection of Tetras Inspired by Classical Music
Just a few months ahead of Basel World, Nomos has dropped four new models in their Tetra family. The Tetra, as many readers will be aware, is Nomos? square watch. Square watches have gone up and down in popularity over the years, but Nomos has stuck with the Tetra since the brand?s inception. It?s a design forward case that, in a lot of ways, really sums up the aesthetic of the brand.

The new models, in what Nomos is calling the Symphony Collection, have all been given names that relate to classical music (specifically, Beethoven), and are available in the 29.5 x 29.5mm Tetra case, which measures just over 6mm thick. The Tetra is a discreet, classically sized dress watch, and in this size is definitely unisex (Nomos has long resisted distinct men?s and ladies? lines, instead designing watches in neutral sizes and colors that can be worn by anyone). That said, if your taste veers towards modern sports watches, the size and feeling on the wrist of a watch like the Tetra will take some getting used to.
