Nomos Makes Its W&W Debut With Updates to Neomatik, Club Campus, and Tangente Collections
Nomos Glashütte has made its first appearance at the all-virtual Watches & Wonders watch salon, showcasing new timepieces in three of its Bauhaus-influenced collections. The releases ? which include updated colorways and size expansions in Nomos’ Tangente, Metro, and Club Campus lines ? come on the heels of a relatively quiet (for obvious reasons) 2020 for the German brand. Among that year’s highlights were pieces celebrating Ludwig Van Beethoven 250th birthday, as well as commemorative models to honor 175 years of watchmaking in Glashütte, and a few other, smaller launches.
Tangente
Leading the schedule are two additions to the brand?s popular Tangente line, the Tangente Neomatik 41 and Tangente 38 for Doctors Without Borders, the former coming with a new, midnight-blue colorway, and the latter being Nomos?s latest model released in partnership with the NGO, and which consequently celebrates 50 years since its founding.
The Neomatik 41 in midnight blue is the latest refresh to the Tangente Neomatik 41 design since its last update in 2018. While design-wise and mechanically essentially the same as the 2018 version, the new midnight blue version expands the existing series, which includes white-silver-dial and black-dial editions. The midnight blue version also uses a new colorful accent for its unique, patented analog date ring, with bright luminous green showcasing the passing days.
