Norqain Brings A GMT Hand To The Neverest Collection
Norqain is adding a new collection of watches to their recently introduced Neverest family in the form of three GMT models. The trio makes use of the brand?s Kinessi built Calibre NN20/2 you?d find pulling duty in the Tudor Black Bay GMT, and provides a plenty of bang for the buck in Norqain guise. The design language falls in line with what we saw in the first Neverest watches released earlier this year with a bit more color thrown in for good measure. Oh, and proceeds will, in part, continue to support the Butterfly Help Project, so if you?re on the fence about this one, that might be enough to nudge you over the line.Â
The Neverest GMT is being offered in three models, each receiving a unique colorway and strap combinations. While the ceramic bezel insert gets 24 hour labeling, it?s the internal rehaut that gets the bicolor treatment, with a white bottom pairing with either a blue, green or orange top half. The color is punchy but doesn?t overwhelm thanks to this execution, as opposed to a bicolor bezel insert.
The blue and green dials are fitted to stainless steel cases, while the orange finds itself in a satin finished DLC steel case. Regardless of color, the case measures 41mm in diameter and 48.9mm from lug to lug. Much like the Tudor Black Bay GMT, case thickness will be the issue here at nearly 15mm. Granted, this isn?t exactly pitching itself as a restrained sport watch for everyday wear (as far as I can tell, at least), so live and let live, I suppose...
