Panerai Launches its First Green-Dialed Submersible as an Online Exclusive
Panerai first dipped its toes into e-commerce in 2017, with the release of a limited-edition model in its Submersible collection (then called Luminor Submersible), with the first 30 of 100 pieces offered to online customers. Today, Panerai takes it to the next level, with another special-edition Submersible ? this one with all 500 of its pieces available exclusively via the brand’s e-commerce site. Here’s a look at the Panerai Submersible Verde Militare – 42 MM, which also happens to be the first-ever Submersible with a green dial.

The watch, tagged with the reference number PAM01055), features a 42-mm case made of brushed AISI 316L stainless steel, equipped with both a unidirectional rotating bezel with a relief dive scale and the proprietary bridge-shaped, safety-locking crown protector to secure the screw-down crown (and thus, the case’s 300-meter water resistance). Both elements are hallmarks of Panerai Luminor and Submersible watches, and hearken back to Panerai’s origins as a provider of tactical timepieces to Italian naval divers. The indices andn hands are treated with white Super-LumiNova that emits a blue-green glow in the dark.
