Some time ago, I came up with the Rolex Submariner 116613LB, as the perfect watch for one piece collection. Its super versatility and bullet proof durability really caught me. However, this time I could not miss another perfect watch to be put onto my list, namely the Rolex Daytona 116520.
It is now a classic and iconic Rolex watch, highly sought-after among watch lovers all over the world, due to its timeless design and exceptional practicality. Despite it is classified as sports watch, it fits perfectly in dress watch category as well, no problems with that at all. King of chronographs – that?s how I like to think about a Rolex Daytona, when I compare it to the other chronograph timepieces, below and just around this price point. Despite, the water resistance is not a strong side of chronograph watches, Rolex Daytona is thought to be water resistant to 100 meters, which is just about right for daily use.
When I choose the right watch for one piece collection, I tend to look at different aspects, which must click together. First category is size and durability. Rolex Daytona is housed by a 40mm stainless-steel case, which is beautifully shaped and looks really sleek, and seems to be impossible to beat. I think it is the ideal size for both slender and massive wrists.
