RGM Celebrates 25 Years with Three New Watches and the 801SW Caliber
RGM recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, inviting the public into its workshop in Mount Joy, PA to take a look at American watchmaking firsthand. In honor of this momentous milestone, RGM has also released three new watches, as well as a new movement caliber?the 801SW.
Before we get to the watches, let us first take a look at the movement. Here, however, the third wheel and the sweep drive wheel are both on the third wheel arbor under the bridge. It?s a slightly more complex construction, but it?s a more effective one, too. Of course, RGM offers customers a handful of bespoke options with the 801SW, among them wolf’s tooth winding wheels and custom engravings. Save

Aesthetically, this watch is roughly the same as the 801-COE, but here you have a heat-blued steel center second hand accenting the Grand Feu enamel dial. Rounding out the specs are a 316l stainless steel case measuring 42mm by 11.7mm, a sapphire crystal on the front and back, and a water-resistance of 5 ATM. $10,900
