Building upon the success of its first skeletonized wristwatch which was introduced last year, Norqain unveils the Independence 22 Skeleton Special Edition. Limited to 300 pieces, this special edition comes in a 42mm stainless steel case that features three different finishings ? brushed, polished and sandblasted ? to create a nice contrast and play of light. It has a diameter of 42mm and boasts a water resistance of 100 meters. 

The transparent dial allows an unobstructed view into the heart of the timepiece where the components of the C.O.S.C.-chronometer certified Norqain NN08S caliber in a metallic ruthenium color are a feast for the eyes. Its design is based on the architecture principles of beam construction: each support point is held by at least two arms, which results in an exceptional shock resistance and a high level of robustness, according to the family-owned Swiss brand.
The brand logo is inserted into the scratch-proof sapphire glass while the ?Chronometer? designation is placed on the flange, allowing for more of the skeletonized movement to be seen. The seconds hand boasts a red tip for enhanced legibility while the hour markers and minute scale stand out in white. For great readability in the dark, the skeletonized hour and minute hands are coated with Super-Luminova C1 X1 which emits a white glow.

The Independence 22 Skeleton Special Edition is attached to a 3-link bracelet and retails for $3,900.
