Headlining the lineup this year will be the new Quantième Complet Phase de Lune from the expanding, vintage-inspired Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe collection.

The watch represents a marriage between classical sport and high-horology luxury, with Blancpain’s traditional complete calendar with moon-phase display, a mainstay of the elegant Villeret collection, making its debut in the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe family, which had already begun its move into more complicated options at this year’s Baselworld, including a day-date and an annual calendar. The moon-phase appears in a large aperture at 6 o’clock.
As on the Villeret model, the Bathyscaphe?s ?meteor gray? dial has a distinctive arrangement for its calendar functions, with the day of the week and month appearing in windows, the date indicated by a central pointer hand on a numbered scale, and the moon-phase in a large aperture at 6 o?clock. This ?complete calendar? mechanism is protected against inadvertent, potentially harmful adjustments during its midnight date change by a special safety feature. The typical divers? watch hands and large legible indices are treated with Super-LumiNova for underwater legibility.
