With WatchTime New York 2022 less than 10 days away, we are in the final moments of highlighting some of the most exceptional timepieces that will be on display at the event. Taking place from October 21 to 23, WatchTime New York is a three-day collector’s event dedicated to showcasing the most sought-after watch releases from the past year.  

Swiss watchmaker Blancpain is joining more than 30 participating watch brands at Midtown Manhattan?s Gotham Hall with its newest variants of the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Flyback Chronograph. The two new models, taking shape in red gold and grade 23 titanium, are the first members of the Bathyscaphe line to both feature these materials and include a flyback chronograph complication. 
The case size of both new models is consistent with the rest of the collection at 43mm. In actuality, many of its predecessors use a 43.6mm case, yet the slight difference is effectively negligible when it comes to how the watch wears on the wrist. As previously mentioned, the case options come in red gold and grade 23 titanium, each framed by a unidirectional rotating bezel with a ceramic inlay. Notably, grade 23 titanium contains less oxygen than standard watchmaking titanium, therefore improving the material?s resistance to breakage and corrosion.
