WatchTime New York 2022 is less than two months away, returning for the seventh time to Midtown Manhattan?s Gotham Hall on October 21-23. The three-day event is dedicated to bringing collectors, aficionados, and industry professionals together for a unique and personal experience. Breguet is one of over 30 watch brands participating in the event to showcase its latest timepieces, and for Breguet, the new Classique Calendar 7337 will be the piece to see.Â
The Classique Calendar 7337 is a pre-existing model in the Breguet Classique Collection, one that is emblematic of modern style while maintaining the strong historical essence of the brand. Earlier this year, Breguet introduced two new color variations of its Classique Calendar 7337, one with an 18K white gold case and the other with a rose gold case. Both options are versatile and comfortable, measuring 39mm with a height of 9.95mm.
At a glance, what is quickly apparent in the design is that its main dial sector of the dial is off centered, skewing towards the 6 o?clock position with an ample gap between the 12 o?clock index and the bezel. Occupying that space instead is a moon phase indicator with a hand-hammered gold moon atop a blue lacquer sky. There are windows for the day and date above the main dial as well located in the 2 and 10 o?clock positions respectively. The hours and minutes are indicated by blued hands pointing towards roman numeral hour markers.Â
