Showing at WatchTime New York 2022: Chopard Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon
In March of this year at Watches and Wonders 2022, Swiss watchmaker Chopard debuted the Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon. Taking inspiration from a historical Chopard model reinterpreted across generations, the design uses rich blue hues and references the Swiss Alp mountain eagle with a flying tourbillon.
The watch, which is a chic addition to the contemporary sports watch offerings from Chopard, will be showcased at the upcoming WatchTime New York 2022 event taking place from October 21-23 at Midtown Manhattan?s Gotham Hall. Chopard joins more than 30 participating brands as part of the three-day event, with it set to showcase many of the most sought-after watch releases from the past year. The Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon is protected by a 41mm Lucent Steel case and bezel decorated by eight screws set at a tangent. The middle case uses a vertical satin-brushed finishing with polished bevels meeting a compass rose steel crown. Closing the case on both sides is glare-proof sapphire crystal, putting both the dial and the mechanics on display. Extending from the case is a tapering integrated bracelet made from satin-brushed steel links.
The main dial features an ?Aletsch Blue? hue that is achieved by galvanic treatment and stampede with a pattern that radiates outwards from the tourbillon at 6 o?clock. The white gold hour-markers and numerals are applied and treated with Super LumiNova®. The flying tourbillon...
