Showing at WatchTime New York 2022: MB&F Legacy Machine Split Escapement EVO
In just a few weeks, the long-awaited WatchTime New York 2022 will be returning to Midtown Manhattan?s Gotham Hall. The event will take place from October 21-23, with three days dedicated to showcasing various timepieces and creating open conversations between guests and industry professionals. Over the course of the weekend, more than 30 participating watch brands will display their most sought-after releases from the past year.Â
Joining the impressive list of attendees is Swiss independent watchmaker MB&F. The brand will showcase the Legacy Machine Split Escapement EVO, a piece that made its debut at Geneva Watch Days in late August. MB&F introduced the EVO collection a few years ago in a campaign to improve the overall sturdiness and durability of its watches. EVO is an abbreviation of the word ?evolution,? hinting at the improvement mindset with which the brand approaches all of its new watches.
The release of the Legacy Machine Split Escapement EVO came in two editions: one made for serial production and the other, dubbed the Beverly Hills edition, is a limited release. Both watches feature a 44.5mm grade 5 titanium case with a notably slim bezel and a crown in the 4 o?clock position. On the side of the case in the 9 o?clock position, adjacent to the date dial, there is a small push-button that can be used to quickly set and adjust the date.
