The Leica watch collection consists of two models, both of which are equipped with hand-wound mechanical movements developed and produced in-house: the Leica ZM 1 and the Leica ZM 2, which are now available in the new Monochrom Edition.

The edition is without color or silver tones to achieve a truly minimalist aesthetic, with the exception of the iconic red dot on the patented push-crown and the watch movement that is visible on the back. Beneath the anti-reflective and strongly curved sapphire crystal are the black rhodium-plated, diamond cut, sandblasted indices and hands. The new dial also incorporates a glossy black logo print, white minute divisions, and a deliberate exclusion of numbers from the small seconds area.
