Highlighting a milestone year, TAG Heuer has released the first special edition of its recently launched Carerra Sport Chronograph. Available in two options, the timepieces are inspired by the 1965 ?DATO 45? which was notable as the first Heuer wrist chronograph to feature a turning date disk. The historically influenced timepiece also features a date window uncommonly positioned at 12 o’ clock on the dial.

Released to commemorate the 160th anniversary of the Swiss watch brand, the new special-edition versions of the Carerra Sport Chronograph collection are available in two dial colors, blue and white. It is equipped with a Heuer 02 manufacture movement and is limited to just 1,860 pieces.
?It was fascinating ? truly a privilege ? to have a chance to look at all of the outstanding Carrera models when we were creating our anniversary selection,” says Catherine Eberlé-Devaux, TAG Heuer?s Heritage Director. “The choice of the 3147N ? the in-house reference for the Carrera ?Dato 45? ? was a bold one because it challenged our design team to create a clean, legible chronograph dial with a date window in an unusual position.
