The Dietrich Time Companion Gets a Sterile Dial Limited Edition
For years, Dietrich has been making design forward, modern watches that are really unlike anything else on the market. Zach Weiss reviewed the OT-1 back in 2015, which seems like a lifetime ago, and that design, even today, seems to look to the future far more than the past. The Time Companion is Dietrich?s take on perhaps the most discussed watch sub-genrre of the last few years: the integrated bracelet sports watch. Carrying a retail price of $2,000, the Time Companion offers an affordable entry into what we usually think of as a prohibitively expensive category of watches, and offers an aesthetic that?s youthful, modern, and just a lot of fun. The latest edition of the Time Companion, the TC-Pure, is an extremely limited stripped down take on the watch that I think is likely to entice new Dietrich collectors veterans of the brand alike.
