Louis Vuitton is not among the names you think of when fine watches and horological expertise are discussed. But the brand seems to want to change this, and the first step is their Tambour Moon Mysterious Flying Tourbillon. This timepiece builds on the mysterious movement trend, combining it with a flying tourbillon and arranging these elements beautifully in a line. Mysterious movements are not uncommon in watches today, with Cartier being especially known for their take on the style.

Louis Vuitton?s watch features a 45mm platinum case and is powered by the manually wound LV110 calibre. The movement boasts an impressive 8 day power reserve. At 12 o?clock is the brand?s signature monogram flower which also appears on the flying tourbillon which completes a rotation every minute. This watch beautifully minimal and complex, perhaps indicating a fresh new direction for Louis Vuitton?s range of timepieces. The watch features a black alligator strap and LV will engrave the back the back of the tourbillon carriage with the owner?s initials to add a personal touch.
