Timex Just Released the Q Falcon Eye, Another Throwback From Their Archives
Earlier this year, Timex successfully broke the watch internet with the release of the Q. A genuine phenomenon among the enthusiast crowd, the Q was an immediate hit due to Timex?s ability to recreate a very specific late ’70s look, right down to the old-school battery hatch on the caseback. The Q has been sold out for much of the time since its release, and even as Timex replenishes stock, they?ve just today introduced a new model to the Q family, dubbed the Q Timex Falcon Eye. Based on a design from 1978, the Falcon Eye is an interesting companion piece to the original Q, with a similar feel but a personality all its own.

If the original Q was something of a pure sports watch, the Falcon Eye is perhaps a tad more on the luxury side of the spectrum, but in a very ’70s way. This watch is flashy, with a gold-tone bezel and crown, electric-blue dial, and raised hour markers. The bracelet is the same folded-link design we saw in the earlier Q, which is another smart vintage inspired touch.
