Tutima Seven Seas Welcomes New 40mm MariTimer Series
Tutima?s dive watch catalog gets a little bigger with the introduction of the new MariTimer series, a watch that will live within their M2 Seven Seas S collection. The MariTimer addresses one of the biggest concerns about the new models released last year, and that is their 44mm diameter. The MariTimer keeps plenty of the same personality and functionality, now packaged inside a nifty 40mm case. The larger models aren?t going anywhere, so this really represents another welcome option within the M2 range, which has pretty much skewed on the larger side exclusively, until now.Â
The core MariTimer series gets 4 dial colors, and while none are quite as loud as the yellows and oranges seen elsewhere in the collection, they do feature a lovely dégradé that fades from light to dark at the dial?s perimeter. Unless you opt for the black dial, of course, which sits alongside the red, green, and blue options. A fifth reference also appears in the series, which does get a yellow dégradé dial within a black pvd case.
The 40mm steel case of the MariTime watches follows a similar design to the broader M2 collection, and can be had fitted to a leather/rubber hybrid strap, or an H-link bracelet that tucks right up to the case, appearing almost integrated thanks to the hooded lug section.
