Vacheron Constantin Introduces a Blue-Dialed Patrimony Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin
Vacheron Constantin has had some fun this year by giving a number of their classic designs a makeover with attractive blue dials. It’s no surprise that blue has made its way into Vacheron’s greater collections, but the execution of it, as a whole, has been excellent from start to finish. Joining the extremely attractive Overseas and FiftySix models that we covered here, is the new Patrimony Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin that has been provided with the same midnight blue shade that a number of other Patrimony timepieces saw in January at SIHH.

The Patrimony Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin has been a part of the broader Patrimony family since 2011. Not much has changed for the watch in the past eight years other than the addition of this refreshing midnight blue dial. Classic baton hands turn above a cambered dial on which the minute track is beaded with gold cabochons. The hour markers are both trapeze and baton-shaped. Beneath the sunburst, satin-finished dial, the lunar disc presents a matching pink gold moon set against a lapis lazuli sky. The 41 mm-diameter by 8.9 mm thick 18K pink gold case is water-resistant to 30 meters and fitted with a sapphire crystal caseback revealing the automatic movement inside.
