Victorinox Updates their FieldForce Line with a Series of Tough but Wearable GMTs
Victorinox recently released a new addition to their popular FieldForce line, a quartz powered GMT with an easy to read dial and an incredibly tough case. The FieldForce is a sporty, well built, modern update on the traditional field watch, and Victorinox has naturally thrown in much of their trademark styling into the new GMT version of the watch. Let?s take a closer look.

Like a traditional field watch, the FieldForce GMT is built on legibility first and foremost. Large, lume filled Arabic numerals surround the dial?s perimeter and are matched to similarly luminescent oversized sword hands. The 24 hour GMT hand is smaller and thinner, but features a circular tip to draw your eye to it. The 24 hour scale is located on the dial?s inner ring, and everything comes together nicely to make checking the time in multiple time zones quite easy even at just a glance. The old-school field watch aesthetic has been updated by Victorinox here with a rotating timing bezel and the brand?s trademark bright red seconds hand.Â
