VAER is a young brand based in California making fun, accessible watches geared toward everyday wear. This year, they released their first automatic dive watch collection in the D5. The new dive watches offer a compelling take on the archetypes of the genre, and even include some novel details in the Tropic dial. The watches are fitting in that they cater to the lifestyle of VAER founders, Ryan Torres and Reagan Cook, who live in Venice Beach, CA. 
We sat down with Ryan and Reagan to discuss their newest releases, and ask them why they offer unique movement options within SKUs, and where they derive their design inspiration.
