A New ?Brat Pack? Doc Looks Like a Full Fledged Nostalgia MachineÂ
Coming soon to Hulu, Brats is a documentary that seeks to unpack the appeal and pop cultural phenomenon known as the ?Brat Pack.? If you were alive in the 1980s (or just appreciate movies from the era) the Brat Pack will be extremely familiar to you. A collective of young movie stars who rose to prominence in teen films like The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles as well as more mature fare like St. Elmo?s Fire, the Brat Pack really felt like a new generation was taking over Hollywood. Some members of the Brat Pack have gone on to huge success later in their careers (Rob Lowe is arguably more famous now than he ever was) while some had a decidedly tougher time. The new film, directed by full fledged Brat Packer Andrew McCarthy, has interviews with seemingly the entire cadre of Brats. The Home Alone House is on the MarketÂ
